Thrifty Thursday- Free Samples

I love free samples.  It's so easy to sign up for free samples of products online, and it only takes seconds.  Free samples are great to try products out that you normally would not buy, but they are also good for stocking up on trial size items for when you go camping or on vacation.  I have a whole bucket of free sample items like deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, vitamins, razors, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent...you get the idea.  Manufacturers send out free samples in hopes that the consumer will fall in love with the product and become life time buyers.  I'll admit, there are a few free sample products that have suckered me in to buying the product.  One of them was Downy Unstoppables....mmmm...love the way those make the laundry smell. 

Requesting a free sample is super easy, and it's so much fun when they start coming in the mail.  Let's face it, everyone goes to their mailbox hoping for surprise packages.  Free samples are kind of like surprise packages since you usually forget you signed up for them, and then BAM- they come in the mail.  Surprise!  I also like to request free samples for my mom.  She loves getting random things in the mail that she has no idea where they came from.  It's like Christmas...but not.
