Our is taking a vacation next month, and we went back and forth deciding to fly or drive. Since one of our kids is 2 years old now, we have to pay for his flight. For a while, the cheapest option would be driving. A few weeks ago though, we got an alert from Airfare Watchdog about some super cheap flights. We jumped on those bad boys, and are happy to be flying now. I am so glad we won't have to drive 24 straight hours in a car with two small children. You just put in what cities you want to be alerted about good flight prices, and they email you when a good deal comes up. Airfare Watchdog has saved us by alerting us about flights a few times now, so I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for great flight deals.
